She blended herself very well on the green leafy branches of a big old tree just outside of Room 209.
I don't think anyone can notice her unless they have really sharp eyes.
It's a surprise guest for us when we checked into this hostel suite on the campus of Tunghai University. Yvonne saw it first when she looked out of the window.
We walked toward the balcony and the pigeon remained motionless. She just stayed there in her nest.
Yvonne took a small morsel of a moon cake and put it on the edge of her nest. It's a good-well gesture from us human beings. But she was scared and flied away immediately.
That was when we realized that she was actually hatching two eggs.
It's a very beautiful mother pigeon. The eggs sort of sparkled under the afternoon sunshine. We decided to leave them where they were, and hope that we might see them again next time when we checked into the same room:)
